Podoscypha multizonata (Berk. & Broome) Pat.

Fruit body: as rosette, up to 25 cm in diameter, consists of individually twisted tongues. Upper surface is concentrically zoned, in shades of pink and brown. Hymenial surface is smooth and brighter.

Microscopy: spores ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, amyloid, 4.5-6.5x4-5 µm, cystidia cylindrical.

Flesh: thin, more or less rosette colour, elastic when wet, brittle when dry, without distinct smell and taste.

Habitat: season end of summer and during autumn, on ground in deciduous forests, from tree roots. Rare.

Edibility: inedible.
